I have a love/hate relationship with the fashion industry, and I usually keep that side of my life apart from this blog and apart from my writing. But. Sometimes a fashion house presents a true wonder, a product that is genuinely new and completely inspiring.
Wode by Boudicca is the first fragrance from the house of Boudicca, and the first ever visible fragrance. (I find the concept incredibly exciting.) Combining sight and smell, the fragrance is cobalt blue and packaged in a silver spray can. The blue dye disappears in just a few minutes and -- fear not -- clothes are not ruined.

Legend has it she and her tribe wore a cobalt blue war “paint” on their skin that gave them a ferocious and mythical look when advancing into battle. Wow. That's pretty cool. I think I would still worry about it staining, but it would be nice to see just where the perfume spray covers.
I'm not convinced it won't stain.
Have you ever noticed that shampoo that claims not to tangle your hair tangles it? Where your previous shampoo didn't. And new improved flavours very rarely are. :)

Cate - you are so right about hair products. Any conditioner I’ve used that claims to ‘smooth and shine’ usually makes my hair more dry and frizz-prone. As for new improved food flavours -- what a scam! ;)
